How to create a NEW email account or make CHANGES to email accounts?
To create an NEW email account, login to your websites control panel via http://www.yourwebsite.com/cpanel (replacing www.yourwebsite.com with your own website name) and click add/remove email account\'s. Once added you will need to add the same email account to your own email client if you choose not to use our On-Line email client interface such as "Hored" or "SquirrellMail" to read or send your emails. To CHANGE an email account password go through the cPanel under the specific email accounts name then click "Change Password". The same procedures above can be userd with all other email accounts. You will have compleat control over all your email accounts and passwords from your cPanel.\r\n
Our On-Line Webmail interface:
Allows you to check your email from any web browser as opposed to a desktop mail application such as Outlook Express or Thunderbird that is computer specific. This means that you can check your email from any web browser that has an Internet connection. Please make sure to log out when checking your email on public computers so that other people cannot read your email. You can check the webmail for any account by logging into https://yourwebsite.com:2096 notice the (:2096) with the full username (myemail@yourwebsite.com) and password for that email account.Email names should be self explanatory:
Make it easy like .... newsletter@yourwebsite.com goes to the newsletter person, but questions@yourwebsite.com and guest@yourwebsite.com could be set up during special events to forward guest requests and questions to the correct person\'s who is different most every time.... so we recommend an email forward be set up so as to never expose the persons real email address for security reasons.Security of email addresses are most important:
Your hosted email addresses can be easily added or removed through the (cPanel) but most individuals have a lasting relationship with their private email address. Simple email addresses are easy for an individual to always remember such as newsletter@yourwebsite.com if you want to send/receive newsletter information to a client and guest@yourwebsite.com if you need to send/receive guest information about your upcoming Expo and so on. A real no-brainier! Consistency counts.Should you have any question/issues contact us through the client area and open a support ticket.
